phpluwzdtpm Why Hire a Realtor Who Blogs to Sell Your Vancouver PropertyIt is interesting to me that only a small percentage of Realtors blog.  I ask why this is so, as the Internet continues to be the main tool for marketing real estate. I believe real estate blogs  are an invaluable tool for potential sellers and buyers, as they can learn a lot about a realtor prior to hiring them.

Here are some of the advantages -

1. Get to know your realtor before you hire them.   Get to know your realtor before you commit to working with them. Leave comments and receive answers. Blogging offers transparancy.

2. Determine if they are an expert in your neighbourhood and area. Do they write detailed posts about your neighbourhood and area?

3. Do they track the neighbourhood stats and give a monthly analysis, demonstrating that they are aware of the market conditions and keeping potential buyers and sellers informed and tuned in. Do they compare different property values within the neighbourhood and write about zoning changes, new developments, etc?

4. Do you like and trust them? Are your personalities compatible? Blogging offers a unique insight into the realtor’s interests,  personality and style. Are they ethical?

5. Are they knowledgeable about the business, the market? Do they demonstrate a sound knowledge of the business, do they explain technical terms and talk about new legalities?

6. Are they consistent, detail oriented, factual?

Having a good Internet presence is very important is marketing a property and the agent you choose should be All Over the Web. As an active realtor and blogger in vancouver i am delivering relevant and often microscopic information to the consumer

i could not agree more with you. internet will not take away sale aspect of the real estate but could be used big time in bringing customers to the door. i wonder what percentage of people research and make their decision regarding homes on internet before they call Realtor.

having a realtor who actually knows and shares the numbers openly is much more important then so called free market analysis that everybody seems to be offering these days.
