The average price of a Vancouver house cracked $1M in March, for the first time. There were 152 published MLS sales on the West Side and only 8 below $1M. with an Average sale price of $1,936,000. 133 solds on the east side and 12 were over $1M with an average sale price  of $799,000.

Only 23 sales in 2010 under $1M on the west side. A total of 12 sales for the year over $4M.  Where does it go from here? Can this keep going or will the market level off?

The average condo price on the West Side is now $620,000 and on the east side it’s $358,000

i remember sitting 10 years and drinking coffe with my friends and talking about real estate and at that time price of regular vancouver house was around 400,000 and how expensive that was and what we are going to do. now people are selling and buying houses that are hitting one million and making it look like it is only 100,000. i hope we keep prices reasonable, whatever that means these days :) .
